Finally got my hands on a decent tripod and my first subject is the skyline at night. It’s given me the opportunity to play around with extremely narrow apertures and long exposure times. No more grainy shots. I also included a bonus shot I took of the Henry Grady statue at a red light on Marietta street. The idea was just to take some quick snaps of places I intend to set up and shoot, but it turned out a bit better than expected and it was a perspective I wouldn’t have been able to easily get outside of a car. Lesson learned – always keep a camera close by.
